Purpose: This viewer provides interactive visualizations of NOAA's Storm Events Database for educational and research purposes.
Data Coverage: 48+ NWS-reported event types including tornadoes, hail, wind, flooding, winter weather, and tropical systems. Tornado data back to 1950; most event types available from 1996.
